Sage 50 & Changes to the Government Gateway

The current Government Gateway* service is due to be decommissioned on 14th February 2018 and replaced by a new system developed by HMRC. If you use Sage for your online submissions you may be affected by the changes depending on what version of Sage software you currently use.

Sage 50 Accounts v23 or below
If you currently use Sage 50 Accounts v23 or below, you will need to upgrade to Sage 50 Accounts v24 in order to continue to make online submissions directly from your software.

If you do not update your software to Sage 50 Accounts v 24, when the current Gateway closes on 14th February you will have to submit manually through the HMRC website.

If you currently use Sage 50 Accounts v 24 your software is already compliant with the new gateway.

If you are a client and have any concerns about the compatibility of your software then please get in touch.
